Just watched "Tucker." Great movie. Also I got pulled over today. Apparently there is a thing called the move-over law. If there is an emergency vehicle on the side of the road you must move over a lane and or slow down by 20 mph. Got off with a warning, I think the cop acknowledged my ignorance to the law.

A lot of states have move over laws - the amount slowed down I think isn't necessarily specified, and whether it's and/or I think varies. Sometimes it gets used in an iffy manner, though - I wouldn't necessarily even expect a cop to have it right or give you the correct version per what the law actually says. I think I recall a friend catching a warning based on not-the-law.

Kentucky. It's a law in about 48 states, I think.

Texas has it. Honestly, the only reason I know about it is because I was working in the state legislature and was on the floor of the Senate when it passed.

The cop was just fucking chilling there on the bridge right shoulder, not to far in front of my exit. There were more cops on the left shoulder too.

It is an incredibly vague law, probably a tack-on offense.
